Jobs never claimed to be an engineer or inventor. His genius lay in his visionary and leadership abilities. He was a futurist with a practical drive, unafraid to make mistakes, to refine and develop brilliant concepts of where society and technology could go together, and then to do what it took to get there, from finding and keeping the loyalty of the right people, to making those savvy deals.
